Lin Maystead (he/they) is a queer, multidisciplinary artist based in Lexington, Kentucky. He received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Studio Art from the University of Kentucky, with a minor in Art History in 2024.

Their artwork challenges the complex emotions of living in a trans body and a queer identity, specifically moments of euphoria and dysphoria. Mainly depicting the self in a variety of styles and emotion-based work.

Lin had their first solo show, "The Nuances of Queer Identity", as a part of their BFA senior exhibition.

Since graduating, Lin has had multiple shows in the Lexington, Kentucky area with galleries supported by LexArts and the Lexington Art League.
